
Daniel joined the Sverdlov Law team in 2025. He supports both the marketing and administrative sides of the firm, helping clients stay informed and ensuring that operations run smoothly day to day. Whether managing client intake, coordinating consultations, or assisting with document organization, Daniel strives to make the estate planning process clear and efficient for every client.
Before joining Sverdlov Law, Daniel worked in marketing, social media strategy, and property management, where he developed strong communication and organizational skills. His background gives him a unique perspective on how to connect with clients and present complex information in a way that feels approachable and human.
Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Marketing from Brooklyn College (CUNY) and is fluent in both English and Russian. His attention to detail, creativity, and drive help keep the firm connected—both online and in person.

Ashley Hall is an experienced attorney whose practice is devoted to Estate Planning, Probate, and the administration of Estates and Trusts. She has guided numerous individuals and families through the complexities of preparing for the future and addressing the legal challenges that follow the loss of a loved one.
Her estate planning practice includes the careful drafting of Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Last Wills and Testaments, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and other essential documents designed to reflect each client’s unique goals. In addition, Ashley represents clients in court, providing steady guidance throughout probate and estate administration proceedings.
Ashley began her legal career in litigation before transitioning to estate planning and administration, motivated by a desire to support clients and their families during some of life’s most difficult transitions.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, magna cum laude, from Dowling College, and her Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.

Katya founded her law firm in order to provide her clients with more personal attention in resolving their legal matters in a timely and efficient way. Katya believes that one can enjoy life more fully when one’s affairs are in order, the assets are protected and one’s family is taken care of. Katya enjoys helping seniors and their loved ones in planning for long term care, quality of life, autonomy, and asset preservation. Her practice focuses on estate planning, probate and estate administration, Medicaid planning, elder law, and business succession matters.
Prior to law school, Katya spent twelve years working for several top Wall Street financial companies. Her experience includes senior positions in investment banking and securities industries, giving Katya a unique ability to deal with complicated financial matters. Katya, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), can understand the tax problems, accounting issues, investment portfolios and general business matters of her clients. Prior to starting her own firm, Katya worked for two prominent law firms, representing dozens of clients with issues ranging from business succession planning and complicated estate tax matters to Medicaid planning and fraud investigations.
Katya holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics from Cornell University. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Brooklyn Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York. Katya is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, Brooklyn Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Law Section of New York State Bar Association, and the Elder Law Section of New York State Bar Association.
Aside from her dedication to the practice of law, Katya is also committed to her community. Katya teaches Estate Planning 101 at the Brooklyn Lifelong Institute at Brooklyn College. She is a frequent lecturer about issues related to Asset Protection, Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Tax Planning, and other questions related to her areas of practice. Katya gives regular presentations to senior citizens through the Brooklyn Bar Leap organization and was a volunteer in the Kings County Housing Court. Katya is also a prolific writer of blog posts that keep both professionals and consumers abreast of changes in the law and interesting new ideas.

Rochelle joined the Sverdlov team in 2020. She provides daily support to clients, responding to their concerns and offering insights into how their cases are progressing. She is usually the first person that a client will speak with when calling the firm!
Rochelle brings with her over 10 years of experience from diverse job roles, including personal assistant, internal sales administrator, and webmaster roles. Before joining the Sverdlov Law team, Rochelle worked as a personal assistant at New Media Publishing for seven years, perfecting her customer service and administrative skills.
Her high attention to detail coupled with her loyalty and drive help keep Sverdlov Law running smoothly. From estate planning to elder law, Rochelle handles all of the moving parts that help Sverdlov provide the highest quality legal representation.
